A little about me.
I’m a Cambridge-based artist with a day-job in nursing. I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember and continue to enjoy the focus and creativity of making art. I studied art throughout my school years and completed a Fine Art Degree in 2015. My paintings are predominantly female portraits using oil on canvas or wood. I use thick bold brush stokes and strong colours influenced by graffiti art. Whilst studying an art foundation diploma, I visited Berlin where I was captivated by the lively urban atmosphere and street art on every corner. This led me to move to Berlin to work with local artists and gain an insight into the Berlin art scene. Now back in Cambridge, I have started to experiment with gold leaf which takes inspiration from religious art and one of my favourite artists, Gustav Klimt.
